Our priorities for 2025-26 set out the key areas of focus for Voyage Learning Campus as we continue to create an environment in which students working with VLC can fulfil their potential.

Close the Gap
- Strengthen Pupil Premium monitoring to close the attainment gap
- Embed the revised SEND database to improve consistency and communication
- Increase enrichment/cultural capital opportunities for disadvantaged students
- Refine evaluation systems to ensure evidence-led and sharply focused provision

Curriculum & Teaching
Enhancing skills and specialised support
- Continue to develop Pastoral Support Plans to enhance students' progress
- Fully implement the Passport for Life curriculum across all phases
- Extend trauma-informed strategies to all classrooms
- Complete SEND database development and provide full staff training
- Strengthen literacy and numeracy through intervention and in the classroom

Pathways and assessment support
- Improve parent communication regarding exams, access and pathways
- Strengthen baseline data use to guide planning and entry decisions
- Refine curriculum pathways to integrate academic and vocational routes
- Expand vocational pathways and internal accreditations
- Prioritise mocks, tracking and communication
- Embed Passport for Life for life skills and personal development

Engagement, restorative practices and motivation
- Develop restorative approaches for school-wide consistency
- Expand enrichment to increase motivation and pride
- Strengthen parental engagement and refine targeted attendance strategies
- Provide personalised support and online provision where appropriate

Personal Development
Opportunities, careers and EDI
- Expand enrichment opportunities throughout the school
- Develop post-16 taster sessions to support transition
- Ensure regular, meaningful work experience for all Key Stage 4 students and develop careers curriculum across Key Stage 3
- Embed equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) across the curriculum

Evaluation, leadership capacity and external links
- Strengthen strategic evaluation of whole-school impact and self-evaluation processes
- Develop leadership capacity at all levels, particularly for middle leaders
- Develop structured parental engagement for curriculum/post-16 information
