Our priorities for 2025-26 set out the key areas of focus for Voyage Learning Campus as we continue to create an environment in which students working with VLC can fulfil their potential.

Close the Gap

  • Strengthen Pupil Premium monitoring to close the attainment gap
  • Embed the revised SEND database to improve consistency and communication
  • Increase enrichment/cultural capital opportunities for disadvantaged students
  • Refine evaluation systems to ensure evidence-led and sharply focused provision

Curriculum & Teaching

Enhancing skills and specialised support

  • Continue to develop Pastoral Support Plans to enhance students' progress
  • Fully implement the Passport for Life curriculum across all phases
  • Extend trauma-informed strategies to all classrooms
  • Complete SEND database development and provide full staff training
  • Strengthen literacy and numeracy through intervention and in the classroom

  • Develop post-16 taster sessions to support transition
  • Ensure regular, meaningful work experience for all Key Stage 4 students and develop careers curriculum across Key Stage 3
