Update on School Closure Arrangements

Following last night’s announcement of a nationwide lockdown, we have reviewed our provision and will now only offer places to those who are either children of a key worker or have a social worker. Staff have contacted all of those who are eligible and provision is in place where it is needed. I know you will want to join me in thanking staff who will be on site supporting children. We will, however, continue making phone calls and sending emails to keep in touch with you.

I cannot urge you strongly enough to follow the lockdown procedures that were established last night and ensure that your children do the same as well. This means that we should all be remaining at home, and children should not be leaving the house to meet friends or gather in groups. This is absolutely necessary to save lives by preventing the spread of the coronavirus.

To encourage regular communication we now have a school Facebook page. Please do ‘like’ us and keep up to date with links for support and guidance.

Home learning is available on our website and we would encourage you to establish a regular routine.

Please keep in touch – we have a special email closure@voyagelearningcampus.org.uk and please use this if you have any queries or need some additional support during this time.

Wishing you and your families well at this time
