Primary Quiz Night

Primary Quiz Night

On Friday 1st December, staff together with their family and friends held a quiz night, hosted by Quiz Master Rob Baker, to raise money for our Primary Centre.  It was a great night organised by our Assistant Vice Principal, Alyson Mitchard and Business Support Administrator, Louise Shepherd who were also supported by Centre staff.

We would like to thank the following local Businesses for generously donating prizes for the raffle:-

The following staff also donated prizes:

Simpsons Jigsaw puzzle – Chryssi Poole (Teacher, Primary)

Prizes for a hamper – Ellen Flynn (Teaching Assistant, Primary) and Colin Rowland (Driver, Primary).

A fantastic £597 was raised through this event!  This is in addition to £468 raised through holding a sausage sizzle, run by Louise Shepherd and Steph Forrest (Teaching Assistant at Primary), at the Bunnings store in Worle on the weekend of 25th and 26th November.  This totals an amazing £1,065!  This money will be used to decorate and furnish a sensory room at the Centre which will help to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged children from across North Somerset.  This would not have been possible without the dedication of our amazing Primary staff and the kindness of those businesses who provided the prizes.  Thank you all once again.

Please watch this space for more fundraising events and if you would like to be a sponsor or could offer your services to support with any fundraising ideas, please do get in touch with our Fundraising Committee.  We would love to hear from you!
