Literacy Grant from the Foyle Foundation

Literacy Grant from the Foyle Foundation

Great News!

Huge thanks to The Foyle Foundation for awarding the VLC Weston a grant of £4,000 to purchase Kindles and e-Books to support our ongoing literacy programme.

The Foyle Foundation is an independent grant making trust and supports libraries and literacy in schools. They realise that there is no statutory requirement for schools to have a library. They believe, like us, that encouraging children to read widely will provide a major boost to improving literacy levels.

Thank you Foyle Foundation
